The path to peace - only a thought away. It may help to have a visual get away in mind, a place you've been or an image that you find relaxing. Nature can be soothing both physically and mentally. Alice Miller is a psychoanalyst who specialized in child attachment issues - a path to trust and self acceptance can start early with attached caregivers who respond to the infant's cues and allow safe exploration while being available if needed.
