    Protecting biodiversity takes teamwork.

    in Peace is Biodiversity.

Biodiversity includes soil microbes, freshwater and ocean life, cropland, forests and deserts. Scientists, policymakers, city planners, volunteer beach cleaners, highway litter picker-uppers, and wildlife preserve specialists - all are essential to help take care of our home - our planet. Mother Nature supports the entire food chain from soil microbes and ocean plankton to the predators that keep populations from becoming to numerous.

More information about work that is being done towards protecting biodiversity is available from a number of organizations including:

    • Wetlands/Ramsar Convention: ramsar.org - on Twitter - @RamsarConv

    • Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES): ipbes.net - on Twitter - @IPBES - on Facebook - facebook/IPBES

    • Global Conservation - ocean, wildlife, trees, agriculture, microbiology - for a variety of organizations and individuals see the list on Twitter: Global Conservation.

Dinosaurs are now sculptures in a children's park, how many more species will become sculptures in a park?
